The AbilityOne® Program is a federal initiative that uses government procurement to employ people who are blind or have significant disabilities. Through a national network of approximately 450 nonprofit agencies, the program provides the federal government with products and services at fair market prices.
The AbilityOne Program is committed to producing quality products while enhancing personal independence and quality of life for employees. Employees learn job skills that allow them to grow within their communities and build successful careers in public and private-sector jobs.
Contracts under the AbilityOne Program offer federal customers high-quality products available through a variety of distributors at reasonable prices and delivered when needed. AbilityOne service contracts offer a stable workforce dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.
